In addition to all coaches completing annual background checks, coaches also maintain coaching certifications by completing online classes through the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS). Our coaches in all sports are held to a very high standard. RYA strives to provide the highest level of competition for our athletes stressing the importance of team work, commitment, and of course FUN! I would like to thank head office, staff, and the campers who made this experience worth it this past summer. While the pace of the environment can be busy at times, as there is a new situation each day, the experience is worth it in the end.

Overall, I would recommend Royal City Soccer Club to anyone who has aspirations of becoming a teacher. We ran activities between 9 AM to 4 PM Monday to Friday, while also providing pre and aftercare for selected campers between the hours of 8 to 9 AM and 4 to 5 PM.

Head office was super supportive all the way through, and addressed any concerns I had. In addition, working with the staff members and volunteers at the location was also a benefit, as I could practice my leadership skills.
